Shrimp Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. of large shrimp
  • ½ cup of plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 lime
  • 6 corn or flour tortillas
  • ½ cup of fresh or pickled red cabbage
  • 1 bunch of fresh cilantro
  • ¼ cup of fresh diced pineapple
  • ½ bottle of Delta Heritage Moppin’ sauce
  • Seafood seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, season shrimp lightly with seafood seasoning and MOPPIN’ sauce to coat shrimp.
  2. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate while preparing your toppings.
  3. While the shrimp are marinating, thinly slice fresh cabbage or grab your pickled cabbage, chop cilantro, and dice a pineapple.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet to medium heat, and add 1 tbsp of avocado oil.
  5. Sauté shrimp for 2-3 max, or until just pink.
  6. Remove shrimp from heat and add them directly to your tortilla of choice.
  7. Top with cabbage, pineapple, lots of cilantro, and sour cream or yogurt.
  8. Finish with a squeeze of lime and enjoy!
